Trying to write a very concise explanation of what the Fed does when it engages in QE. Help appreciated
I'm writing only what it *does*, not *why* or *what* happens after, just the mechanical explanation of what actions are taken during QE. **The Federal Reserve wires a quantity of fiat money, that didn't exist before, to financial institutions in exchange for bonds.**
